On behalf of the Australian & New Zealand Society of the History of Medicine (ANZSHM) we look forward to welcoming you to the 2025 conference.

The conference will take place between 8-11 July in the Law Annexe Buildings at the University of Sydney, Camperdown Campus.

The biennial ANZSHM conference provides a unique opportunity for anyone interested in the history of health and medicine to network and to explore medical histories of all kinds.
The theme for 2025 will focus on how medical and health history continues to be made in our own times and what is its impact?

Social highlights include Welcome Drinks on Tuesday 8 July in the University's Rare Book Library and the ANZSHM Conference Dinner on Thursday 10 July.

We hope you will join us in Sydney.

The Call for Papers is now closed.
Applications for the Ben Haneman Memorial Conference Grants for Postgraduate Research Students and Early Career Researchers are closed.

The ANZSHM offers grants to postgraduate research students and early career researchers, to assist them to present papers at its Biennial Conferences.
Information on the Grant is available here.
